GCCSA presents DR BIKE @ Cardonald Campus
GCCSA has linked up with Cycling Scotland and Transport Scotland to take part in the Cycle Friendly Campus award next academic year which will see us aiming to make improvements cross campus in relation to cycling provisions and resources for cyclists. As part of this we have secured a free DR BIKE session this week as a trial run!
Students and Staff can come along to the area near the bike lockers on the 23rd May between 10am-12pm with your bike to have it checked over and ...any simple repairs done for FREE!
Lifts in Cardonald Campus Tower Block
We would like to apologise for the reduced lift service which has been experienced at the Cardonald campus in recent weeks. We have had a major refurbishment project ongoing to install five new lifts in the Tower building which is in its final stages, however it has taken longer than anticipated to get the final lifts finished off. We are working hard to progress this matter and appreciate the inconvenience being experienced by staff and students. We hope to have all five lifts working soon. Thanks for your patience.
TOP TIPS TO HELP BEAT EXAM STRESS
It's that time of year again where students are revising and sitting exams. This can be stressful time for students and parents alike but remember it's normal to deel a little bit of stress, some levels of stress can help you focus; though too much of it can make you feel overwhelmed or out of control and can make it harder for you to take in information.
